He is scheduled for a free-agent visit next week with Seattle, a source told FOXSports.com.
The Seahawks could be in the market for an heir apparent to 35-year-old Walter Jones, a nine-time Pro Bowl selection who is recovering from offseason knee surgery. Jones' play began to slip last season and he is set to earn a $6.2 million base salary in 2009.
Levi Jones was released Wednesday by the Bengals after seven seasons. Andre Smith, the No. 6 overall pick in last month's draft, is expected to replace Jones in Cincinnati's starting lineup.
The Bengals are also close to signing ex-Dallas safety Roy Williams.
