--Having played the New York Giants often when he was in Dallas, Julius Jones was asked last week how to be successful against the defending Super Bowl champions. He said the Seahawks need to punch them in the mouth. After Sunday's lopsided decision, the Giants said they read Jones' comments and took umbrage. "I wasn't offended by what he said," linebacker Antonio Pierce said, "but we did use it for motivation."
--CBs Kelly Jennings and Josh Wilson are being picked on so often because Marcus Trufant, playing on the other side, has graded out so well that teams are afraid to throw the ball his way. "Marcus is having a very good year," Holmgren said. "A very, very good year. He's one of the players that is really doing everything he can to help us.
