May 3, 2009 (The Seattle Times delivered by Newstex ) --
Matt Hasselbeck ran a bootleg in for a touchdown on the last play of the team's three-day minicamp. Defensive end Darryl Tapp followed the indications the play was going to the right, and wasn't able to chase down Hasselbeck and cornerback Marcus Trufant was late in coming over.
Hasselbeck and T.J. Houshmandzadeh showed a great chemistry, especially in the red-zone drills at the end of practice. The other receiver who really stood out was Courtney Taylor. Yes, that Taylor who everyone expected so much from last season but ended up delivering so little and even wound up on the practice squad at one point, but he made an incredible, acrobatic catch in front of cornerback Ken Lucas.
Safety Jordan Babineaux made an interception during seven-on-seven drills, picked off a ball overthrown to Houshmandzadeh.
Defensive tackle Colin Cole was held out of practice on Sunday morning and there were two players not present on the practice field: LB Adam Leonard of Rainier Beach and S Jamar Adams, a second-year player from Michigan.
There had been a lot of talk about Adams possibilities this season, and some fans pointed out that in an NFL.com video inside the Seahawks' draft room, a depth chart showed him first at free safety. He was practicing with the third-unit this weekend.
